Good afternoon Mason, it looks like the sun might be popping out this afternoon. As always, we have some delicious fresh eggs from the hens in the stand today. I am also individually labeling batches of cherry tomatoes, beefsteak tomatoes, large green peppers and big jim chili pepper plants for the stand. Plants are $3/ea, 4/$10.

We hope you have a wonderful weekend with your families and gardens. And please remember to take a moment to remember what this weekend is truly about, remembering those who sacrificed all so that we can live in this wonderful nation.

Good morning Mason!

It's looking like it should be a beautiful weekend!

If you are visiting town to check out Spring Fling, we'd love to see you swing by our stand for some fresh eggs and to check out our hand crafted goodies. We have several hot pads, dish scrubbies and cedar planters out at the stand. Eggs are also on sale this weekend, $2/dz.

Plants will also be hitting the stand soon! We have tons of heirloom tomatoes, pepper varieties you wont see at your usual greenhouses and lots of flowers.

Gardening season is quickly approaching! Have you been dreaming about adding new raised garden beds around your house or upgrading/expanding your current garden? We have been working hard in the evenings fulfilling cedar garden bed orders.

We are now using true 3/4" thick rough sawn cedar boards for our beds. They can be planed smooth on the outside or left rough sawn for that more rustic look. Top and corner trim can be added as well as shown in the pictures as well for a nice clean look in your garden or no trim for a nice basic bed.

Standard size is 6ft wide x 3ft deep x 1ft tall. We can also adjust sizes to almost anything to can dream of to fit your space.

It feels like spring every time I walk into the pole barn! Tons of veggies and flowers are growing for our garden and yours! We started 4 more trays of pepper and tomato varieties last night to make sure we don't run out of them at the stand. That includes lots of different paste tomatoes for those that love canning. There are also lots of heirloom pepper plants that you won't see at the large garden centers.

We still have tons of flowers to start in the next few weeks and then it will be time for everything that needs to be direct sown. It's going to be a busy but rewarding spring!

Good morning! We are overloaded with eggs at the moment so for now thru Easter, we are asking $3/dz. Lots of pretty colors from our mix of hens, so no need to paint them if you don't want to 😉.

We also just added a 3 tier cedar planter out by the stand. And we have tons of heirloom pepper varieties popping up in our starting trays. Those will be available in May along with heirloom tomato starts and lots of flowers!

Good morning! It's opening day at the Hen-n-Hoes farmstand. We have an assortment of eggs from our ladies available for $4/dz this morning. We also have several double layered cotton hot pads available for $10/ea and dish scrubbies for $2/ea.

I am working on building cedar porch planters that we will have available at the stand soon. And more things will be available soon as we grow. We currently have dozens of tomato and pepper plants starting and hundreds of flowers that will be available and also used to start our cut flower garden beds.

Our new farm stand is getting close to being completed. We are hoping to have it open this weekend stocked with fresh eggs at $4/dz. Our eggs vary in color from white, light brown, blue, green, lavender and dark brown. Hopefully we will also have a selection of crocheted crafts from my wife and small cedar planter boxes made by myself. We will announce our official opening date when we know it.

We are located at 1295 W. Columbia Rd., about 1.5mi east of Mason.
