Summer isn't over yet.
But fall is starting to knock on the door.
And honestly? This might be one of our favorite times of the year at the Deerfield Farmers Market.

The tomatoes are still coming in. The peppers are going strong. The late-summer produce is still putting on a show.
But you’re also starting to see the first signs of fall.

Cooler mornings. Crisp evenings. Shorter days. And the crops that remind us that the seasons don't change overnight.
For a few weeks, we get the best of both worlds.
The last great tastes of summer sitting right next to the first tastes of fall.

Not because you need more vegetables.

You probably do. 😂

But because there’s something pretty awesome about spending a Saturday morning outside, talking to the people who actually grow your food, discovering something you’ve never cooked before, and going home with a bag of produce that tastes like SUMMER.

We are officially in the “bring a bigger bag” portion of the season.
