We would like to send a big thank you to everyone who attended the Blueberry Pruning Workshop today at Dr. V’s Farm LLC! Your support, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn made the event a wonderful success. It was great to see so many people interested in learning how to properly care for blueberry plants and grow healthy, productive bushes.

A special thank you goes out to Mr. Mac Jackson with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension for leading such an informative and hands-on workshop. Your knowledge and guidance helped everyone better understand blueberry pruning—from young plants to mature bushes—and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your expertise with our community.

Today’s rain is more than just a cloudy sky — it’s a blessing for our blueberries and blackberries! 🙌

Rainwater soaks deep into the soil, helping strengthen the roots, encourage healthy growth, and prepare our plants for a strong, productive season. Natural rain is especially important because it delivers nutrients evenly and keeps our bushes thriving just the way nature intended. 🌿🫐

While we may be getting a little wet today, our blueberry and blackberry plants are drinking it up and getting ready to reward us with beautiful blooms and sweet, delicious berries in the months ahead.

💙🎄 A Special Christmas Blessing 🎄💙

I want to take a moment to say thank you to our son, Aaron Locklear, for these beautiful Christmas gifts. These custom Dr. V’s Farm LLC merchandise represent family, hard work, and the vision we continue building together. 💙🫐

Seeing our farm logo on something so nice reminds me how far we’ve come since establishing the farm in 2024. It’s a blessing to have children who believe in the dream and support the work, even when the days are long and the weather doesn’t always cooperate.

With blueberry season right around the corner, we are getting excited! There’s something special about watching those berries turn from green to that deep, beautiful blue. Blueberries are not only delicious — they’re packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and natural goodness that support heart health, brain function, and overall wellness.

Yes… they complain 😄.
Yes… the work is hard.
But they still show up, put in the effort, and help make this farm what it is.
