Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to celebrate Opening Day at West Rock Farmers Market! We had such an incredible turnout and truly appreciate all the support from our community! 💛🌿

There’s nothing better than seeing familiar faces, meeting new friends, and kicking off the season together.

We can’t wait to do it all again next Saturday morning… and we’d love for you to bring a friend along! Come hang out, shop, and enjoy everything our amazing vendors have to offer.

🌿🎉 Join us for Opening Day this Saturday from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM at West Rock Farmers Market! 🎉🌿
Bring a friend, come early for the best selection, and help us kick off another wonderful season! 🌞
Here’s a preview of what you’ll find on Opening Day 👇
🥬 Fresh from the Farm:
Cabbage, squash, collards, kale, cucumbers, and a beautiful variety of lettuce (romaine, red, and butter crunch)
Arugula, kohlrabi, onions, radishes, garlic scapes
Snow peas & shelling peas
Cherry tomatoes and fresh-picked blackberries
Nothing beats that flavor!
🌿 Fresh Herbs:
Basil, rosemary, sage, thyme, peppermint, and lavender
💐 Garden & Home:
Potted plants (indoor & outdoor), fresh flower bouquets
🍰 Baked Goods & Treats:
Pound cakes, pies, gluten free cookies & cakes, blueberry salad, homemade jellies, and Fresh lemonade
🍞 Fresh Bread & Sourdough:
Gluten free bread, Organic sandwich bread & cinnamon bread
Sourdough loaves: Country, Jalapeño Cheddar, Blueberry Lemon, Rosemary
Plus sourdough cinnamon rolls, everything bagels, cookies & blueberry muffins
🥚 Farm Favorites:
Farm-fresh eggs (chicken & quail), local pasture raised meats, local honey products including hot honey
🧼 Handcrafted Goods:
Organic goat milk soaps
Handmade jewelry, greeting cards, artwork, dog bandanas, customized t-shirts, Wreaths and other handcrafted items
🤝 The Lion’s Club will be there selling their famous brooms—be sure to stop by and support them! They will also be collecting used eyeglasses for donation, so bring any you’d like to contribute.
✨ Whether you’re shopping for fresh produce, stocking up on baked goods, or just enjoying the atmosphere—Opening Day will be full of amazing vendors and local goodness.
🛍️ New this year: We have reusable market shopping bags available for purchase for $5, or feel free to bring your own!
💵 Please note: This is a cash-only market, so come prepared.

We’re down to less than 2 weeks until the West Rock Farmers Market kicks off, and we are so excited!

We still have 3 vendor spots open, and we’d love to fill them with amazing local produce growers. If you or someone you know would be a great fit, now’s the time to jump in!

We’re currently looking for produce vendors for the upcoming market season. If you grow fresh vegetables, fruits, or specialty crops and want a great place to sell locally, we’d love to have you join us. Whether you grow a little or a lot, we want to support local food and local hands.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Vendors Meeting today — we loved seeing so many familiar and new faces! We’re getting excited for the upcoming market season!

We're hosting our Vendors Meeting on Saturday, April 18th at West Rock Farmers Market. All returning vendors are asked to attend, and we also invite anyone interested in becoming a vendor this season - especially produce vendors! We're looking forward to opening in June and can't wait for another great season!
