It’s been a long, cold winter. Spring is near or at least we pray it’s soon. The farm is seeing signs of new growth & new birth. Crops will be going in the ground soon & babies are being born increasing our herd.

Our appts this yr are April 8, May 12, June 3 & September 9. All dates have limited availability. Our price is $3.60/lb hanging wt + butcher fees (.67/lb hanging wt & $55/animal slaughter fee divided between buyers). $100/quarter non refundable deposit will get you on the books. Common questions:
Final price? We can’t tell you that. We sell by hanging weight which is after slaughter (when head, hide, hooves & innards are removed). The butcher sends us the weight a few days after slaughter. We will invoice your balance due us then & you will pay the butcher’s fees when you pick up your meat.
Yes, we grain finish.
Why? Marbling & flavor.
How much do I have to buy? We sell by the quarter, half or whole. We do not sell individual packages at this time.
Breed? Angus (steers)
Age? 23-26 months old.
Wet or dry aged? dry aged.
Vacuum sealed- burger in plastic rolls.
No growth hormones, steroids or antibiotics.
Pickup at the butcher in Garrison KY about 5 wks after butcher date.
