Meet Terry of TNT Homestead.

Please welcome Tim and Ruth Field
We’re excited to have them at the Rendezvous this year.
Tim Field began weaving in 2014 when Har-Ber Village Museum restored an antique loom and he demonstrated weaving on weekends. This led to the purchase of looms at home to expand on new weave structures. Tim taught Ruth to weave, and together they have woven over a thousand rugs.

Over the last ten years they have learned new structures and techniques, as well as spinning yarn and dying with natural plant materials. Tim & Ruth are members of multiple weaving guilds and continue to expand their understanding of new structures.

What started as a part time rug business has expanded to table runners, placemats, towels, and fancy throw pillows.

Tim began teaching students basic weaving in 2022 for individuals and classes at the museums, and this year began presenting at homestead expos and festivals, with an emphasis on practical weaving for the homestead/farm, and starting a home based weaving business for secondary income on the homestead.

Meet Stewart and Ashley Clouse this year at Rendezvous. These people are an inspiration to the homestead community. They are experts at identifying plants and their uses, Homeschooling, crop rotation, and sheep shearing among so many other things.
