Open 9 to 12 Noon, under the large covered area (keeping cool) in Firemen's Park, 210 N. 1st Street, McAllen, Texas. We are next to Town Lake and across from University Draft House.

This baby loves microgreens! Microgreens are a great way to introduce vegetables to children since their flavor is milder. Children really will reach for nutrition if you make it a priority.
For August 8th, we will have an assortment of microgreens including a Power Mix of cabbage family members, a colorful mix of radishes, beet, sunflower, and cantaloupe microgreens.
We are at the Farmers Market at Firemen's Park, 210 North 1st Street, McAllen, Tx. We are keeping cool under the large covered area next to Town Lake. Market hours are 9 to 12 noon, every Saturday morning.

Sleep better with Sansevieria!
Yazmin, the Sisterhood of Traveling Plants, is bringing a collection of Sansevieria, Snake Plant, to the Farmers Market at Firemen's Park, on Saturday, August, 1. These plants clean the air and release oxygen into the air at night! A perfect addition for your bedroom.
This is the oldest farmers market in Hidalgo County, located at 210 N. 1st Street, McAllen, next to Town Lake and the University Draft House. The market is under the large covered area and hours are 9 to 12 noon, year-round.

Seasonal Prickly Pear Jam will be available from Stephanie, of the Hippie Nerd Homestead, along with her Powerhouse Sourdough Granola. The Granola includes both Pecans and Walnuts, Sprouted Rolled Oats, Coconut flakes and Oil, along with Dried Mango, and Chia.

Beat south Texas heat. There may not be much in the garden, but we have some vegetable plants to enjoy on Saturday, July 25th. We have fresh Chaya (Mexican Tree Spinach), harvested leaves and plants for your garden at the Farmers Market At McAllen's Firemen's Park, 210 N. 1st Street, McAllen, Texas on Saturday, July 25th. This is a substitute for cooked spinach or use them as a wrap and steam them.
We also have butterfly pea flowers for adding color to lemonade and teas, herbs like lemon grass plants and basil, and an assortment of microgreens, grown in a controlled environment, that are packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytochemicals. Use on a sandwich, top off a salad or use in a vegetable bowl or top your eggs.

Can we have sweet tasting treats without any sugar? YES!!! And, we have 3 different vendors ready to serve you sweet treats with no sugar!
Stephanie, of Hippie Nerd Homestead, has Freeze Dried, organic Fruit. No Sugar Added! Delicious Mango, Watermelon, Banana, Fig and Strawberry. A simple sweet treat, and all natural.
Rosie, of Rosie's Organic Table, has sweet pudding made with Cacao and Chia Seeds - No sugar, No gluten, No dairy on July 18th.
Stephanie, of Baker Street, has scones made with locally produced mesquite flour. The flour has its own natural sweetness. No sugar needed!
We are open 9 to Noon, every Saturday, under the large covered area in the park.

Breakfast tacos available, with all organic ingredients: avocado oil, corn tortillas, potatoes, spinach, pasture raised hen eggs, and Mexican 3 cheese, available from 9 to 10:00 a.m. only, at Rosie's Organic Table. She also has Classic Potato Salad and Kale Crunch Salad, as well as baked goods, parfaits, and puddings. (Ask her how to make a really rich pudding with NO sugar!)
For July 18th Paul, with Letty's Menudo, will have traditional, On July 18, Paul will have his healthy and clean Menudo, Carne guisada and Barbacoa. Available in several sizes to feed two or the family!
Rosie has assorted Cold Brewed Teas - so refreshing and made with all organic ingredients your body will love.
