🌧️ Farm Update from PJ’s Farm 🌧️

Well, Mother Nature has dealt us another tough hand this year. Unfortunately, we have lost all of our squash crop due to the excessive rain. 😔
We’re not giving up, though! If we can catch a break from all this wet weather, we’re planning to replant and give it another shot. 🌱💪
Our beans are struggling as well, and we’re keeping a close eye on the rest of our crops. Right now, we’re crossing our fingers that everything else can hang on and pull through. 🤞
Farming sure teaches patience, perseverance, and faith. Thank you all for following along and supporting our little farm through the good seasons and the challenging ones.

Hoping for some sunshine, drier days, and better growing conditions ahead! ☀️🌱🚜

We had our FIRST little picking yesterday and let me tell you… those squash did NOT come to play this year! 📈🧑‍🌾🪴

So far, everything is growing, thriving, and honestly showing off a little 🤩 We’re over here checking on plants like proud parents every 5 minutes. Fingers crossed (and prayers up!) for a better season this year 🤞🤞

This year’s lineup includes:
Squash (clearly the overachiever), tomatoes 🍅 (a whole crew of them), eggplant, jalapeños, green beans, okra, cucumbers… and enough watermelon to feed the entire state of Mississippi 🍉😂

Y’all go ahead and hit that follow button so you don’t miss out — because when this harvest really starts coming in, we’ll be sharing the goodness (and yes, selling too!). Fresh, homegrown, and straight from our farm to your table 💚

Well, our tomatoes are not doing well this year! All this rain has really affected their growth! 😢 we are still hopeful!

👋 Hello friends!

We were a little late getting things in the ground this year, but we’re back — and so is the garden! 🌱

We’ve been dodging raindrops here at PJ’s Farm and hoping our tomatoes hold on tight — they’re growing, but this soggy weather’s got us a little worried. Although, we did pick a couple early today- always exciting to see those first pops of red! 🍅 We did manage to pick our first couple of squash, even though the plants took a beating from all the rain. 😔

On the bright side, our red potatoes are thriving! We’ve got three rows ready and they are delicious. 🥔

We also have 4 dozen fresh eggs ready to go!

We are grateful for every harvest, big or small. Thank y’all for cheering us on! ❤️
