The Last Will Be First
A Doctorate in Theology ,a famed mega-church pastor, the pillar of the community? Nope, none of these were chosen to be first. BUT Mary Magdalene was chosen.
The lady who had in fact been possessed by demons. Yes, that Mary Magdalene!
You see no matter where you have been, where you are now or what you have done. When you come to Jesus HE does not reject you. In fact HE moves you to the front of the line.
Mary Magdalene who had been last, was now the first person to carry the news of the empty tomb and a risen Christ. That's what I call being first !
Mark 16:9-20
"Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons. She went and told those who had been with Him.."
