Chicken the way it was meant to taste.
Pasture-raised chickens are the fastest growing animals on our farm. In just 8–9 short weeks, they transform from tiny day old chicks into some of the most flavorful chicken you'll ever eat.
Their journey begins when they arrive at the post office as day old peeps, chirping loudly and making sure everyone knows they're there. For the first three weeks, they stay warm and protected in the brooder while they grow strong.
At three weeks of age, they graduate to life on pasture in our chicken tractors. For the next 5–6 weeks, they're moved to fresh grass every single day, where they spend their time scratching, pecking, eating bugs, and enjoying sunshine just as nature intended.
The result is a chicken that's active, healthy, and full of rich flavor you simply can't find in conventionally raised poultry.
At around eight weeks of age, they are humanely processed, providing your family with tender, nutritious, pasture raised chicken that truly tastes like chicken.
