The UGA Extension Henry County Farmer’s Market is holding its last day of the season Thursday, Aug. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Jason T. Harper Arena

I want to thank all the vendors who made the Farmers Market a great season! Without all of your support UGA Henry County Extension would not have a farmer’s market! Thank you to all the customers who showed up every Thursday and bought from our own local farmers and small businesses! This year was a success and we are looking forward to next farmers market season! Thank you for all the support! See you next year!

We’re Hayley & Emily, the baker and faces behind Grace & Grain!

Hayley is the hands behind the bread, turning a love for baking, faith, family, and simple living into fresh, homemade loaves for our community. Emily is her partner in Grace & Grain, helping grow the business, connect with our community, and bring new ideas to life.

What started as a love for making good bread has grown into something we’re so excited to share. Our heart is simple—good ingredients, homemade bread, meaningful connections, and food that brings people together around the table.

🌾 And we’re growing! After farmers market season, Grace & Grain will have a local farm stand where you can continue picking up your favorite breads!

VENDOR SPOTLIGHT!

YanniMakesPopcorn!

Approximately 3-4 years ago my son Angell now 15 years old, started a gourmet popcorn business. The popcorn business name is called, "YanniMakesPopcorn." He first started selling his popcorn at school, then to local barbershops, church functions, car washes, and private events. He now sells his gourmet popcorn online at his Shopify store.

We made a decision to scale the business to the next level, by selling at the Henry County Farmers Market.

The Henry County Farmers Market gave my son the opportunity to sell his gourmet popcorn and lemonade directly to the public. The market place is well organized, spacious, and conveniently located off of route 81 east. There are several other vendors who sell everything from bake goods to handcrafted items. We are truly grateful for our business to be partnering with this community of entrepreneurs. We look forward to working together next year in 2027.
