This Saturday La Tiendita and it's ATLAST Leadership Students are hosting CINDERELLA KICKS: a FREE Girls Soccer Clinic for the schools and grades stated above. ⚽ 👸🏻

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY FOR TEENAGERS OR ADULTS:

In three weeks La Tiendita's ATLAST Students are putting together
a Soccer Clinic for Elementary students at JW Webb and Caldwell ⚽ and we are looking for
volunteers to help with: (1) creating tissue flowers/roses; 🌹 and/or (2) help paint boards with positive sayings. 🎨🖌️

This can be done at La Tiendita or you can pick up the materials and
create them at your house, school, church, etc..

The deadline to have everything complete is May 6th. 🗓️

Summer's around the corner and we want our kids to be more active. 👧🏽

So if you have old bikes, scooters, or skateboards your kids don't use anymore you can drop them off at La Tiendita. 🚲 🛼 🛴 🛹

We also have someone that fixes them for us if it needs light repairs 👨🏻‍🔧 Thanks!

SAY HELLO to La Tiendita's ATLAST Latino Leadership Students for 2025-2026!!!!!🎉

ATLAST is one of La Tiendita's empowerment programs. It is a 9 month Leadership
Internship for High School Students that teaches (1) social skills/etiquette: (2) conflict resolution: (3) workforce development:(4) cultural empowerment: (5) financial literacy: (6) leadership: and (7) how to manage and operate a small business (La tiendita).

Overall we teach our students how to be leaders in their schools and community.

Additionally, if any challenges come up for our students we offer 365/24/7 wraparound assistance that addresses any needs that come up whether it's mental health, medical, educational or anything else that would hinder our students from graduating and maximizing their full potential.

Basically we tell our students "Just focus on accomplishing your dreams and let us focus on everything else!"

Much thanks to our board, volunteers, staff and supporters that make this amazing and extremely beneficial program available for our kids.
