With the name change of the store means new owners. John Allen and Mary Tremble are the new owners and have named the store Helmer General Store. An opening date will be announced very soon!! We are all so excited to see all of you, we have missed you all!!

After 5 incredible years, it is with a heavy heart that we announce that Hank’s General Store will be temporarily closing beginning Friday, May 15th, 2026, pending the sale of the business.

We want to sincerely thank this community for the overwhelming support, loyalty, and friendships that have meant so much to us over the years. From the locals who stopped in every day, to the seasonal visitors who made Hank’s part of their tradition — you helped make this store more than just a business. You made it part of the community.

This decision was not made lightly, and while change is never easy, we remain hopeful for the future of Hank’s General Store and what may come next for this longtime community business.

We ask everyone to continue supporting local businesses throughout our community and to remember all of the hard-working people who help keep small-town businesses running every day.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the last 5 years, the memories, the conversations, and the support through both the good times and the difficult ones. It has truly meant more than words can express.

🌷 Spring is here, and we’re adjusting our hours for the season! 🌷

Hank’s General Store will be open daily from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM for the spring.

Our regular summer hours will return soon—stay tuned! ☀️
