Built in 1870, The Meadville Market House is the oldest market structure in continuous use in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

It's an exciting Saturday downtown this weekend! Not only is it the Farmers Market and Second Saturday Community Market, but it is also the Meadville Area Chamber of Commerce's Wine Walk from 3-7pm. We'll be open late! And don't forget Donutology will be here serving up fresh donuts from their truck!

Who will you find at the Market House? Out front you'll find Gatehouse Winery, inside you'll find Before the Barrel Distillery, and in the Market House Eatery you'll find Titusville Distilling! If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, you can register at the Downtown Mall the day of. Hopefully we'll see you at some point during the day whether it's for fresh veggies, artisan crafts, donuts, soft pretzels, or finding your newest favorite beverage!

The big news of the week is that we've been approved for SNAP/EBT for the OUTSIDE Farmers Market and it works!

And tomorrow is the Farmers Market! 9am-1pm. How do you use your SNAP/EBT card at the Farmers Market? You'll buy tokens with your card, 1 token = $1 and pay the farmers with the tokens. Stop by and see all the fresh produce the farmers will have on their tables!

(We are still waiting to hear about approval for inside sales, but we're working on it.)

We've got Amish donuts! These are made by Tasty Treats Bakery from Hartstown, PA, who also makes the fry pies and white and wheat breads. We have cinnamon sugar, pumpkin glazed, and chocolate iced donuts! Find them next to the register this morning. $2 ea.

We've been approved for SNAP/EBT for the Farmers Market.

How does it work? You'll buy tokens with your SNAP/EBT card to buy directly from the farmer. 1 token = $1. Please note that if you are one of the first customers, you'll be one of the first to use our new payment system. If anyone would like to volunteer to be the first to ensure everything is working well, please come at 9am when we open. Thank you!
