In 2025, the Roselli family passed it to their longtime friends, the Johnsons of Johnson’s Corner Farm, who remain committed to its recipes and tradition. Roselli’s Food Specialties was founded in 1969 by Leo (“L.E.”) Roselli and his wife Dolores on a property in Medford, New Jersey, that had once been a working farm. Leo immigrated to South Jersey in the 1930s, and by the 1960s, he and Dolores began bottling homemade Italian sauces and crafting meals based on cherished family recipes. From the very beginning, the Rosellis emphasized authenticity and homemade flavor—values that became the hallmark of their brand. Over the decades, the business grew into a beloved local institution, expanding beyond sauces to offer a wide variety of homemade Italian entrées, including lasagna, meatballs, stuffed shells, soups, and more.
