🥗 Grab some locally grown Whistling Duck Farm and Store salad or mesclun mix and one of their fermented dressings for a fresh, local meal in minutes. to our very first ribbon cutting ✂️
Fifteen years ago this August, a ribbon was cut to open a grocery store – but what truly began that day was something much bigger.

This throwback photo captures a moment that helped shape what Medford Food Co-op has become: a community-built space rooted in connection, local food, and a shared vision for a stronger Rogue Valley. From those first excited faces at our ribbon cutting to all the owners, shoppers, farmers, makers, and staff who have been part of our journey since, every chapter has been written together.

As we celebrate 15 years this August, we're filled with gratitude for everyone who believed in this dream and helped it grow. Thank you for making the Co-op what it is today and for being a part of what comes next.

Help create Positive Change for Rogue Food Unitesthis June! Rogue Food Unites uses food to heal individuals and communities during times of crisis. They have been nourishing our community with local food since their inception in 2020. RFU strives to ensure universal access to healthy, nutritious food - every day and in times of crisis.

Funds raised will help support Rogue Food Unite's Neighbors Unite: No Cost, No Barrier Farmers Market. Through this program, RFU not only drives revenue to local food producers but also helps keep our local community fed. RFU prioritizes purchasing the produce for the market locally, then regionally, whenever possible. This commitment to local purchasing drives revenue to regional organic farms, economically revitalizes the local food system through large-scale food purchasing, and builds community resilience. Each week, the farmers market serves an average of 2,000 individuals and 630 households across Jackson County.
