The apple growing tradition of the Oakes family and LynOaken Farms dates back to 1918 when our grandfather purchased land in rural Orleans County in Western New York State to grow the best apples possible.

🍎Update from the orchard: we are almost picked out of Honeycrisp in the Upick orchard! There are still Honeycrisp apples at the north end of the rows and on the lower branches, but they won’t last long! We do have some gorgeous Honeycrisp to fill your bags from our pre-picked bins if we run out before you get here!
🍎And we have so many other varieties to pick from on the trees: tons of McIntosh, Gala, 20 Ounce, Wealthy, Wagner, and the Early Fujis are just starting!
🍎PLUS! Fresh c***r by the gallon and half gallon, c***r donuts (while supplies last) and c***r slushies! You gotta stock up before kickoff!! Go Bills!!

🍎ATTENTION!!! Honeycrisp lovers- please read!!
🍎Honeycrisp picking starts tomorrow, Friday September 11! Honeycrisp can ripen unevenly on the trees, so choose the REDDEST colored apples for the sweetest flavor!
🍎Please note- we have very limited quantities of Honeycrisp in the orchard this year, and they could get picked out FAST!
🍎We will have them in pre-picked bins for you to purchase if we run out in the Upick orchard.
🍎Unfortunately we can’t control fruit set on the trees, especially with a finicky variety like Honeycrisp! The good news though is that Honeycrisp tends to be a biennial bearer- meaning that a light crop this year means next year (if we can be open! 🤞) should be a much heavier crop!
🍎And even if you’re not able to pick Honeycrisp directly from the trees, hopefully you can find a few other things to love about LynOaken Upick (c***r slushes! SweeTango apples! A living Apple museum! Our wonderful staff! Sweet new Apple squishy toys!)!

🍎We are open today, Labor Day Monday Sept 7, 10am-5pm for Upick apples in the orchard, pre-picked apples in the bins, and the last of the Upick Sunflowers in the field, and various other goodies in the pavilion!
