Thanks to our wonderful local customer, Luanne, for showing us what $20 of local produce bought with HIP looks like! Do you know that if you have SNAP benefits you also have HIP benefits, too? That means an additional $40 to $80 per month that can be used to buy fresh fruit and vegetables. At our market we have three farmers who accept HIP benefits: Megan Glennon/Moonlight Farm Oakdale Farms and Dick's Market Gardens. Come to the market table at any point to ask questions and learn more!

This week we have a bustling market for you, with 30+ local farm and food vendors bringing their best to you! It’s also Fill the Farm Basket Day — purchase fresh produce from our farmers and donate it to The Food Drive to be distributed where it’s needed most.

We’re more than half way through the season so if you haven’t spent enough time at the farmers’ market yet, this is your week!

We’re thrilled to collaborate with The Food Drive to host another Fill the Farm Basket Day at the market. This Thursday, August 27 you can purchase fresh produce from any of our farmers and donate it to The Food Drive — it will then be distributed where it is most needed in our community. Look for the donation station in the shady part of the market, or ask us at the market info table about where to bring produce. We appreciate everyone who has supported this effort throughout the summer! 💚
