‼️ For anyone impacted by the recent government shutdown or experiencing food insecurity, the NYS Department of Agriculture has released emergency FreshConnect coupons to help support access to local food. These will be available this Sunday, 11/23/25, at the Farmingdale Village Farmers Market. ‼️

Eligible New York residents can receive 10 FreshConnect coupons (a $20 value) while supplies last. To receive them, simply stop by the Market Manager’s table, review the eligibility statement, initial the log acknowledging receipt, and then shop with participating vendors.

FreshConnect coupons can be used on fresh fruits, vegetables, and other SNAP-eligible foods, depending on what’s offered at the market and which vendors are enrolled in the program.

Please note: Coupons expire December 31, 2025.
