Everything is produced in-house, aiming to bring back Mother Nature's Way. Twisted Luck Produce started with a tradition from the Mann Family of producing a vegetable garden to provide fresh vegetables for our family throughout the year. Twisted Luck Produce is also a project for my school reports for my Masters Program. Having to deal with a business, and do financial planning, marketing, optimization, logistics, etc, I felt that this would be a fun and exciting way to put my schooling to work, and my work to school! The real reason your plants keep getting attacked. It's not the bugs' fault.
Here's something most gardeners and farmers have never been told — and once you understand it, you can't unsee it.

Pests don't attack plants randomly. They target weakness. Specifically, they target plants that are nutritionally deficient, soft from excess synthetic nitrogen, and low in natural sugar content.

We wrapped up International Compost Awareness Week last Sunday with a lot of data — tons of CO2 prevented, pounds of methane avoided, nutrients returned to the soil. Big numbers that tell an important story.

But behind every one of those numbers is a person or a business in West Tennessee who made a choice.

Coffee shops that saved their grounds instead of throwing them away. Restaurants that separated their food scraps. Stables that diverted their organic waste.

The American Farm Bureau just released their 2026 fertilizer survey. The numbers are alarming — and they affect every farmer on this map.

This isn't a West Tennessee problem. This isn't a Southern problem. This is a national crisis hitting American farmers from every region at the same time.

According to a new survey by the American Farm Bureau Federation, here is the percentage of farmers in each region who say they cannot afford all the fertilizer they need for 2026:
🌾 Southern Region: 78% of farmers
🌾 Northeast Region: 69% of farmers
🌾 Western Region: 66% of farmers
🌾 Midwest Region: 48% of farmers
