Well, a rainy Friday evening, some got nothing and others were pounded with huge downpours. It does seem we will have more comfortable temperatures for awhile today so come on out and get your shopping done, this morning.

More fruit is coming today, blackberries, apples, cantaloupes and watermelons so come get your favorite.

Lots of vegetables, too. Green beans, okra, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, beets, edemame, delicata squash and new potatoes. You can put together great summer meals from all we have today.

Fresh spring local honey. The bees had a lot to choose from and the new honey is so good.

Baked goods, pound cakes in lots of flavors, buttermilk biscuits, oven fried pies with so many tasty fillings. Fresh fruit and other flavors. White bread, brownies, biscotti, scones and zucchini bread, too.
Doggie cookies for everyone's best buddies.

Fresh collected eggs, they go fast.

Jams and jellies from locally grown fruit for that breakfast toast. Pepper jellies in different heats to go with some cream cheese or as a glaze on some pork or chicken.

Get your grilling cuts in pork or ground sausage for breakfast or Italian ground, or links and of course everyones favorite on the grill nice thick chops.

Produce is coming in great right now. It's that time of the year.

Corn, tomatoes, cucumbers , egg plant, cantaloupe, zucchini, okra, green beans, edamame, squash and we'll see what else may come in

We have fruit, too. Peaches, blackberries and apples.

We'll see about eggs, this heat has been hard on those laying hens.

Some baked goods.

Local honey from our great flowers around and those hard working bees.

Great soap homemade and wonderful fragrances.

Jams and jellies made from fresh grown fruits and peppers.

First of the pickles.

New supply of pork came in so you can find cuts for the grill or smoker, sausages such as brats and Italian and always good on the grill pork chops.

We're seeing a lot of high heat and everyone out taking care of the produce coming to you is to be commended. Hard enough work but the heat makes it so much harder. Come buy their produce to thank them. Kitchen time isn't much cooler for the jams and jellies and baked goods. These vendors feed us well, so come join us fir good things to buy and a bit of a social time.

Small businesses all around our area are working hard so stop in and support them, too.
