Double Up Food Bucks Alabama is making healthy food more affordable for SNAP participants by doubling their dollars for fresh fruits and vegetables at select grocery stores and farmers markets across the state.

Funded in part by the USDA and matched by state and philanthropic sources, this program is administered by Auburn University’s Hunger Solutions Institute and is building stronger, healthier communities—one bite at a time.

This program boosts nutrition by helping families eat more fresh produce and supports local farmers by encouraging citizens to purchace produce grown in their own communities.
