Harvest Season: Unlike standard loquats that typically fruit in the spring, the Christmas loquat lives up to its name by ripening much earlier—anywhere from late winter to early spring. In exceptionally warm winters or microclimates, fruit can mature during the holiday season.
Flavor Profile: The fruit delivers an exceptionally sweet, mildly tangy flavor reminiscent of a cross between a peach, apricot, and a hint of citrus or tangerine.
