After a few tweaks we finally got our Shepherds pie dialed in. It’s yummy and available fresh or fresh frozen this week! We also have fresh frozen Chicken pot pies, Mexican Lasagna, Cheesy Meatballs and Mash, and Baked Ziti. Our meals are all family style, made from scratch by our in-house chef and weighing in around 3lbs. Just throw in the oven and dinner is taken care of for 3-4 adults at a very affordable price. We will be experimenting more and adding a few other to go meal options as well, so if you have any suggestions please let us know!

Today is the second annual MEAT IN day in Colorado! If you are in the area today please give your local ranchers a show of support. Buy any local meat in our store or at participating local restaurants today and get entered into a drawing for 2 beef gift baskets - which will also include gift cards to our store. One of the Plateau Valley CattleWomen will also be here to chat with customers, so please say Hi!

We stocked up on a whole bison from today! We now have plenty ground bison, brats, roasts, steaks (New York’s, rib eyes, filets and sirloins), brisket, fajita, oxtail, liver, and tongue. Ty has dibs on the heart. Also have a beautiful bison hide for sale. Thank you Jake and Alyson!

Soup season is back!

Today’s is a tasty local fall harvest favorite of ours with Roasted Spaghetti, Banana and Acorn squash along with Roasted heirloom tomatoes, Zucchini, sweet candy onions, bell/jalapeño peppers, sweet potatoes, garlic and ginger puréed with local cream and our in-house broth. Served today hot with a dollop of sour cream and toasted squash seeds. Also available Fresh frozen to take home.

Yesterday we lost a Cowboy, AKA Tenacious T or Teddy Ballgame. A Man with a true ‘make it happen’ and ‘get it done’ Spirit.

Two and a half years ago, Ty was having Lunch with Ted in Collbran and semi jokingly said “I think you should buy the old Mesa General Store and I’ll start a Market there.” He said “OK” pulled out his phone, called the realtor and made an offer. That is how Mesa Bloom Market originated.

Our hearts are beyond saddened, but held together by the memories of a Man that helped show us how to make things happen and get things done. That, often in life it is better to just dive in and figure things out on the go, rather than sit back and think. So we did.

Ted, you were like a Father to us. What you taught us and your Friendship will never be forgotten. It will resonate forward. Thank you! We will miss you and we will see you again on the other side.

Today marks our one year anniversary of being open!! We are so happy to be apart of this amazing community.

We could not be where we are today with out the support from our families, friends, customers and our beloved locals.

Come join us in celebrating you this Saturday from noon till 4:00! We will have some live music, .d.latham will be carving with his chainsaw, and Ty will be slinging dogs and burgers for you to enjoy. We will also have some other vendors in the parking lot. See you Saturday!
