Her journey into soap making began in 2023 after discovering how much she loved creating products that could impact not only her family and friends, but her community as well. Not only would these products help people feel better, but more confident too.
What started as a passion quickly turned into a small business. While Lori has spent decades working in the airline industry, soap making has become her nonstop side hustle and her future plan once she fully retires, with a small business she has built and paid for herself.
What sets Lori apart from the rest is her formulation. As she puts it:
“Anyone can make soap, but the best soap comes from perfecting your formulation.”
Lori takes the time to thoughtfully source quality ingredients, creating products that are not only skin-loving, but also effective, moisturizing and gentle on sensitive skin.
Her hand cream came from years of cracked and dry hands with nothing easing that pain. Her own experiences have helped shape Clay + Soap into what it is today.
Her products are often named after family and friends. They are all little pieces of her own life, making each bar even more special.
