International Market will be closed on Sunday, July 19, 2026, as our family and team come together to honor the life of our founder, Hemant Shah.
From a small operation started in his home in 1976 to the store and community we know today, Hemant’s journey was built on vision, perseverance, service, and an unwavering love for bringing people together. Beside him throughout that journey was his wife, Saroj, whose dedication, warmth, and relationships with generations of customers were an essential part of International Market’s success.
As you look through these photographs, you will see more than the growth of a business. You will see a lifetime of hard work, a family’s devotion, and the many customers and friends who helped make this journey possible. To every person who has supported us through the years, thank you. International Market would not be what it is today without you.
