Meet Brownie — the unofficial CEO of Butternut Farmstand. She’s almost 10 years old, which in chicken years makes her basically applying for Social Security. Brownie’s gunning for the Guinness World Record of Oldest Chicken… though honestly, she already thinks she’s a legend.
She patrols the crops like a feathered security guard, follows me around like she’s supervising harvest, and gives me the side-eye if I don’t work fast enough. Around here, Brownie’s not just a hen — she’s the boss, the mascot, and the comic relief all in one.
(And no, she doesn’t lay eggs anymore. She just lays down the law.) 🐔💪
