Friends, we just received the wonderful news from the Department of Agriculture that Farmer's Markets will be permitted to begin opening this weekend. While that is wonderful news, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the MOT Farmer's Market for the time being. While we're obviously sad about having to postpone our opening, we're happy to say that we're postponing because our local farms and vendors can not meet the demand to sell at our market AND their farms, as demand for their products has greatly increased over the last two months. Vendors like Powers Farm and the Flying Plow Farm have been working overtime to keep up with the overwhelming demand that COVID 19 has created. Your support of their businesses has been overwhelming, and we recognize that this is a wonderful problem to have! We hope that you'll continue to support our local farms and businesses and buy directly from farmers like Powers Farm and Flying Plow Farm until we are able to open a Farmer's Market in Middletown. We'll keep you updated throughout the summer, and hope to see you at the Market soon!
