It's a beautiful day for our Middletown Farmers Market! Rain has passed, the sun is out and the tents are up!
A few things that were out when we walked by this morning:
Long Lane-has the best smelling scallions.
Gotta's - pumpkins.
Beckett's - raspberries.
Fae Folk Bakery- pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls.
The Handmade Hub- beef jerky and jams. Beets & Blooms - fresh flowers & veggies from their organic farm.
The Kitchen's Hot Dog Cart is ready to make you lunch and the Micro- Businesses have beautiful handmade gift items!

We hope community members will join us for a cleanup at Batterson Park Pond in New Britain on Saturday, September 27 in conjunction with Connecticut River Conservancy's Source to Sea Cleanup. See details in the flyer below and contact us with any questions! This event is being held as part of our new collaborative project focused on connecting urban youth and Batterson Park Pond area residents with their local water resources; building awareness about environmental concerns, including human impacts on water quality both locally and downstream; and enhancing engagement in stewardship.
