🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! 🚨

We’re thrilled to announce that Delaware Summerfest is expanding! Thanks to the incredible support of the Appoquinimink School District, Lorewood Grove Elementary, and The Town of Whitehall, we’ve officially added the Lorewood Grove Elementary field and parking lot to our event footprint for August 9th & 10th, 12PM–8PM!

🎒 This event is all about giving back — we’re raising funds for a Back to School fundraiser to support students at Lorewood Grove Elementary. We have a registry for the school that will be finalized tomorrow and will also have a table on site where you are able contribute to donations❤️📚

The Whitehall Sunday Market will also be occurring simultaneously on August 10th from 12pm to 5pm for The North Middletown Community and visitors to shop for local produce or pick up their online order of local meat, eggs and more. 🚫 No Car Entry Zones – Mapleton Ave and part of Lorewood Grove Rd will be closed to vehicles during the event (red dashed lines)
🟧 Food Truck Alley – Designated next to Lot A
🟩 Vendor Parking – Behind Lorewood Grove Elementary (green lines)

**UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE WILL YOU BE ALLOWED TO PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE STREETS THAT ARE RESIDENTIAL! PLEASE USE PROVIDED MAP AS A REFERENCE.**

Over a half a dozen members of the North Middletown Community came up to us directly giving us their gratitude, let us know they support us and to let us know they are rooting for us. If only you knew how much that meant t to us🥹

We want to let you know we tried every avenue to help with The Beer Garden at Whitehall but we ultimately could not produce a viable solution. This is public notice of that fact and we truly wish them the best. We absolutely cannot wait to see you open again.
