Just a heads up for all my squirrels stocking up their pantry for winter. We still have green beans for $20/half bushel this week. And getting into September will end our corn season. This week we have bushels of sweet corn for $24.00. Swing by the farm today and Sunday or catlett tomorrow and we will be glad to fill your car with veggies!

Well, summer has certainly shown off this week, but the weather is looking fabulous for the labor day weekend. Perfect for a cookout in the neighborhood or canning in the kitchen. We can provide the vegetables for both! As usual, we are open at the farm daily (3082 Midland rd Midland, VA) today at Re*****on farmers market and Saturday we are at our roadside stand in Catlett from 9-1 (3409 Catlett rd ). This week you will enjoy okra, elysium sweet corn, fascination seedless watermelon, spaghetti squash, eva potatoes, orange carrots, Athena cantaloupe, hystyle green beans, gala apples, yellow squash, black beauty eggplant, scuppernong grapes, red deuce, green, roma and heirloom tomatoes, acorn squash, cucumbers, candy onions, sweet potatoes,and mixed sweet peppers. Make sure you have the best of Virginia.

Just like that it's the last weekendof August, where has the summer gone! Nobody has told the garden and the vegetables are in abundance. As usual, we are open at the farm daily (3082 Midland rd Midland, VA) today at Re*****on farmers market and Saturday we are at our roadside stand in Catlett from 9-1 (3409 Catlett rd ). This week you will enjoy okra, hystyle and roma green beans, sweet potatoes, elysium sweet corn, butternut squash, eva potatoes, Athena cantaloupe, king of the garden lima beans, black beauty eggplant, spaghetti squash, yellow squash, zucchini, red deuce, mixed heirloom and roma tomatoes, yellow and red candy onions, orange carrots, Asian pears, gala apples, carmen peppers, and blackjack seedless and sangria seeded watermelons. We also have gouda cheese! Make sure you have the best of Virginia.

Ok, folks our last butcher appointments for beef and hogs are on the calendar for the year. If your freezer is looking low and you want to know where your meat is from, send us a pm. We can sell the whole animal, halves or quarters.
