As the Kohler Creamery Family we wanted to formally announce the passing of Grant Kohler, our CEO known lovingly as "The Big Cheese."

If there was a man that was the epitome of Tim McGraw's song "Standing Room Only" it would be our leader: "Live a Life, Shine a Light" was how he lived every day.

We consider it a privilege to have been led for 12 years by such a gifted agricultural advocate. He embodied our mission "to help others experience the difference of the farmer's touch."

One of Grant's favorite things was to educate consumers about his life's work by providing consumers with an authentic farm-to-table experience. Whether it was leading a dairy or creamery tour or hauling consumers to and from the creamery during events, Grant loved sharing his farm and creamery with all of you.

We know he'll be checking on us regularly from the other side. So Grant, as the Kohler Creamery Family we promise to do our best to preserve your legacy and tell your story!

Every time we make your classic grilled swiss cheese on sourdough, bottle creamline milk or greet customers at farm events we'll tip our hats to you!

God be with you until we meet again. Rest in peace our beloved leader.
