Are you a teacher looking to schedule a school tour for your class? Or maybe your homeschooling group wants to go on a field trip? Our farm runs specialized tours for school-aged kids!

In mid-September through the end of October, Wasem Orchard offers weekday apple tours. These tours, led by our fun-loving, knowledgeable staff members, are a great educational experience! Students will learn about the farm, growing and raising apples, picking apples, and other fun apple facts.

Each tour includes:
• Taste testing of three varieties of apples
• A visit to the walk-in refrigerator
• A view of apples being sorted on our apple grader, or a view of c***r being made
• A snack time consisting of a yummy donut and a cup of c***r
• A trip to the orchard where students get first-hand experience picking apples

In October we offer U-pick pumpkins. Students will be able to pick a pumpkin from our pumpkin patch for an additional fee.

All tours take place between 9 am and 5 pm (W, Th, F), and must be scheduled in advance by filling out our reservation request form. Just click on the link below.

In addition to Barefoot & Backroads, we're joined by Hauk's Hen House & Farm this season! Both are right here in Milan, and take the best care of their pasture-raised fluffy butts!

✅Pick-up from 9:15 am to 3:45 pm.
✅1 DOZEN DONUTS MINIMUM.
✅Must order 3+ of each kind of donut.
Ex) 6 plain cinnamon, 3 apple cinnamon, 3 blueberry w/maple frosting, OR 4 cherry w/ chocolate frosting, 4 blueberry w/ vanilla frosting, 4 apple w/ maple frosting, OR 1 doz cherry w/ cherry frosting, etc.

You can ONLY order thru Facebook messenger. Please don't comment your order, or call the farm, as we are CLOSED. Deadline to order is 4 pm September 3rd.
