Rob and Christine recently wrapped up an incredible cross-country journey to secure the absolute best fruit possible for our upcoming harvest, fueling our mission to produce finely crafted, balanced w**es. 🍇🍷
Beyond the vines, the true highlight was forging amazing relationships with the passionate farmers and growers who cultivate these legendary fields. It is truly remarkable how the distinct terroir of Washington State's premier American Viticultural Areas (AVAs)—including Red Mountain, Horse Heaven Hills, Wahluke Slope, Yakima, and the Walla Walla Valley—differs from more lush, green regions. These high-desert vineyards thrive in intense heat and rely on precise drip irrigation, as the arid landscape receives only about 7 to 8 inches of rainfall a year. These vines absolutely love the heat, stressing the fruit to create unmatched depth and complexity.
Side by side with our West Coast partners, we are deeply humbled to transform these world-class grapes into future vintages for our w**e club members and guests. Stay tuned for more amazing photos from our trip!
