Three Hammers Winery, Milford Wine & Cheese Co., and Lake Art were recognized as tourism leaders in the Poconos at the annual summit yesterday.

Our very own Rob was honored with the prestigious Valued Partner Award from the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau during Tourism Day. We also received certificates of recognition from various governing agencies for our dedication and outstanding service in promoting the tourism industry and showcasing all our region has to offer.

These honors—including recognition from PA State Senator Rosemary M. Brown, State Representative Jeff Olsommer (138th District), and U.S. Congressman Rob Bresnahan, Jr.—will certainly adorn our office walls and business locations. Our partnership, commitment, and continued support help create memorable experiences that strengthen the community and further establish the Pocono Mountains as a premier destination.

A thank you to our staff as well! This wouldn't be possible without our friendly and personal team. Their hard work, passion, and dedication make achievements like this possible every single day.

The Three Hammers and Milford Cheese shop team recently had the pleasure of visiting Bordeaux. As the saying goes, “When in Rome, do as the Romans do,” and we couldn’t resist visiting a wine and cheese shop. Baud & Millet did not disappoint, and we highly recommend it! With an extensive cheese cellar, it’s a premier destination for wine and cheese pairings. It served as a source of inspiration for us as industry professionals in the wine and cheese space. Our hostess, François, was incredibly kind and passionate about the rich and diverse cheeses that France produces. And the wines? Let’s just say they were exceptional! More pictures to come! Kim's go-to Cheese: Red Witch

"My favorite cheese is Red Witch! First of all, I love the name and red is my favorite color! But seriously, this cheese is just so delicious! Red Witch is a firm cheese made with raw cow’s milk. It hails from St. Gallen, Switzerland. The rind is rubbed with paprika (not edible), the texture is buttery and the notes are nutty, savory and funky. Yes, the aroma is a little strong. But honestly, what wouldn’t smell after being aged for 5-6 months. The other highlight of this cheese is that it pairs well with both red and white wines. I would enjoy it with Three Hammers fruity Merlot or our earthy Tempranillo. For warmer weather pairings, I would select our Semillon or award winning Swift Waters. I love the versatility of this cheese!"
