We're in Pine Lake on the northeastern side of Atlanta today from noon to four for Pollinator Celebration and Plant Sale with our homemade popsicles, jams, and Nicole's photography prints! This is the first time we've vended in Atlanta so if you haven't had an opportunity to try our pops the weather is going to perfect to do so today!

We're headed to .milly.market this evening with popsicles and jams! Pop in at the pavilion any time between 4 & 7 to see us!

In garden news, we took a trip to the pine forest to procure pine needles for mulch. We want to protect the intentionally planted plants soil nutrients from the opportunistic nitrogen feeders. The last picture of the garlic bed shows the inevitable state of unmulched areas. If you look closely you'll notice chicory, dock, chickweed, dandelion, and henbit deadnettle - all of which are edible, but they're also nitrogen feeders so they're not helping that garlic.
