My name is Neilson Hadlock. I am a 4th-generation farmer from Miller, MO. Hog farming has been my passion since I was 13 years old. My great-grandpa Mancel Choate founded the farm back in the 1940's. He raised Duroc hogs here for many years and had a real passion for livestock of many kinds.

I recently moved back home after going to school at The University of Missouri and I am proud to be raising Duroc hogs here again on the same farm my great-grandpa did. I thought it would be pretty fitting to name my farm after him and our brand of hogs as 'Mancel's Best'.

On the operation we currently specialize in the Duroc breed and do farrow to finish, offering feeder piglet sales, whole and half hog bundles, and breeding stock, all with meat quality in mind as our emphasis. Follow along with this page to stay updated on upcoming sales, and I will also be showing some behind the scenes footage and documenting the journey!

Check out this short video with some old footage of some of his hogs and a few new shots of some of my stock I raise now.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to continue a family legacy!
