Guggisberg Cheese was proud to be among the team of winning bidders of the World Championship Cheese Contest Grand Champion cheese from Switzerland, investing $25,000 in support of the dairy industry’s future. This contribution helps support industry contests, training programs, scholarships, and partnerships through the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association 🧀

Last week we had the honor of attending the World Champions Awards Banquet & Auction at CheeseExpo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where we received our honors as the 2026 Best Swiss in the World and 2026 Best Baby Swiss in the World. 🧀🏆

At this year’s World Champions Awards Banquet, Richard Guggisberg received recognition as a 2026 Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association Award Honoree, receiving this year’s Vanguard Award. The WCMA Vanguard Award recognizes cheesemakers or cheese manufacturing employees whose work helped to blaze new trails in dairy operations.
