and.light.homestead is selling organic plant starts this year! Majority are heirloom, and all are cared for to provide nourishing food for you and your family. 🤍

Simply comment or DM us what plant starts you’re looking for (we have a very large variety of vegetables, herbs, medicinal herbs, and some flowers!) and I’ll let you know what we have available - or you can pre-order what you want, I’ll start the seeds and let you know when they’re ready and you can come pick up and pay!

We’re always told to pray over our food, but don’t forget to pray over your animals. The work they do each day to feed your family’s mouths, families in your community, it’s what they’re made for. These animals should be respected, given care and prayed over.

The lives of your animals are important, just as much as the food they eat is important. Whether you’re gathering your eggs, driving your cow to the butcher, preparing to cull your chickens, or milking your cow… don’t look past the food that ends up on the table to nourish your body for another day.
