Everyone talks about the cool things in meat processing plants, but nobody talks about the sanitation that it requires. Something we added this week is a Jimco ozone machine. While we still soap and bleach everything every night, we will run this on a timer when we are gone for the night to kill anything and everything that air can touch. Before anyone says that it’s unsafe and creates bad air. Let me get all Bill Nye on you all lol. We have done extensive research and this machine right here does not use the corona discharge technology. It uses UV-C technology. Top names of processing plants across the country use this same machine in their processing rooms and coolers and we’re proud to bring it in our plant. As long as air can touch it, it’s sanitized!

Just a reminder that starting this weekend we are no longer taking whole deer. We are only accepting de-boned meat for sausage until after r***e season is over!

Also, life is very busy inside and outside of the shop right now so the best way to get ahold of us is calling the shop during business hours. I try to keep up with messages and texts but I tend to answer them in my head and forget that I don’t actually send them 😂
