Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our 2-year anniversary with us. The support from our customers, family, and friends means more than we can put into words. Seeing so many familiar faces (and meeting new ones) made this milestone even more special 🥩

A huge thank you to our amazing staff for all of their hard work, always! We are so proud of the team we have built and could not do any of this without you all ❤️ Y’all are what makes this place so special!

🎉 TWO YEARS?! How is that even possible?! 🎉

Tonight looked a little different around City Meats & Market. After hours (until about 11 PM 😂), we recruited the family, called in the friends, blew up what feels like a million balloons, and got the store looking its best for our 2-Year Anniversary Celebration tomorrow!

An especially huge thank you to our friend Hannah, owner of Bankhead Texas Wine Bar right next door, for helping create what may be the largest balloon arch we have ever seen. 🎈We knew she sold amazing wine, we didn’t know she was a professional balloon artist too 😝🍷

Yesterday this take & bake case was FULL. We turn our backs for one second and now it looks like a crime scene. 😂

But seriously… THANK YOU. The support y’all continue to show City Meats means the world to us, and y’all absolutely cleared us out yesterday!

Hayden has never been one to seek the spotlight. He’s the kind of person who works behind the scenes, puts in the long hours, carries the weight, and never asks for recognition. While social media often shows the highlight reel, it doesn’t show the late nights, early mornings, sacrifices, and constant dedication it takes to keep this business growing every single day — and that’s all Hayden.

He is truly the heart, soul, and brains behind this operation. Selfless, hardworking, generous, and kind, Hayden gives endlessly to our family, our staff, our customers, and this community. He goes above and beyond in every way, often without anyone ever knowing just how much he’s done. They truly don’t make them like Hayden, and we are beyond grateful for everything he is to our family and to City Meats & Market.
