Cinnamon glass candy in the making 🍬
Sweet, spicy, handmade, and one of my absolute favorites to make. I’ve had so many people ask about it, so I thought I’d finally share the process!

✨ Cinnamon Glass Candy ✨
I’ve been making my cinnamon glass candy for our Christmas baskets every year, and this season I’ve had so many requests for extra batches that I decided to try something new and offer a few for sale!
Each bag is 10 oz for $5. I truly love making this candy, so right now I’m just feeling out the process to see if it turns into a year-round thing or stays a special seasonal treat.
If you’re interested in grabbing a bag (or a few 😉), let me know! ❤️🍬

✨ Today was a tough one — full of challenges and deep breaths. But even in the hard moments, there’s always a little light. 💫
Here’s my first harvest basket of the season: vibrant purple beans, sweet blackberries, and one beautiful silkie egg. Grateful for the small joys and quiet wins. ❤️🌿

They are used to treat whooping cough, colds, flu, and fevers too!
Here’s a few recipes I tried out this year.

Today we canned some cowboy candy!
It’s got some zing to it but it’s so yummy! I doubled my syrup recipe so I could use it in some BBQ sauce later on. Also check out the beautiful knife my husband made for me!! I’ll have to do a feature on his talents in another post 😘

The recipe is
3 pounds jalapeños
2 cups ACV
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
1 tsp turmeric
Cut your jalapeños how ever you’d like
Add vinegar, sugar, and turmeric to a pot and bring to a boil
Add jalapeños and simmer around 5 minutes
Place jalapeños in jars with 1” head space
Continue cooking syrup about 5 more minutes
Add to jars
WB for 10 minutes if using pints

*let these babies sit on the shelf ATLEAST 2 weeks before enjoying*
If you have syrup or “liquid gold” left over, throw it in a jar and either can it or place in the fridge for other uses!
