At Graham's Produce and Baked Goods, we don’t just love eating fresh, tender greens—we love growing them from the ground up! 🥬✨

We proud ourselves on growing our own greens, and now we want to help you do the exact same in your own backyard or balcony. We are officially selling healthy, vibrant collard green seedlings just like the one you see here in the picture.

If you're picking up a seedling from us, you don't even need a massive garden plot to get started. Fabric grow bags are one of the absolute best ways to raise them. Because grow bags let the roots breathe, your collards will grow massive, beautiful leaves in no time.

Here is exactly how to plant your new Graham’s seedling into a grow bag for success:

🥬 How to Plant Your Seedling in a Grow Bag
Pick the Right Bag: Collards develop a deep, robust root system. Use at least a 5-to-10-gallon fabric grow bag for a single plant to give it plenty of room to stretch out.

The Perfect Dirt Blend: Fill the bag with a high-quality, well-draining potting mix. Mix in a generous amount of rich compost—collards are heavy feeders and love nutrient-rich soil!
Planting Time: Dig a small hole in the center of the bag, gently remove your Graham's seedling from its starter pot, and place it in the soil. Bury it right up to the base of its first leaves and press down gently around the stem.

Sun & Water: Place your grow bag in a sunny spot that gets 6 to 8 hours of sunlight a day. Give it a thorough watering right after planting, and keep the soil consistently moist. (Fabric bags dry out a bit faster than plastic pots, so check them often!)

Harvesting Tip: As it grows, you can harvest the outer leaves first and let the center keep producing all season long!

Come grab your seedlings today and let's get planting! 🌱 What’s your favorite way to cook up a fresh batch of collards? Drop your recipe secrets in the comments! 👇

Got some old, sprouted potatoes sitting in your pantry? Don’t toss them out, put them to work! 🧑‍🌾🥔
You don't need a massive garden plot to grow your own fresh food. As you can see in the photo, a heavy-duty trash bag with a few drainage holes poked in the bottom makes the perfect budget-friendly container. Just roll the edges down, add a few inches of good soil, plant those sprouted spuds face up, and keep unrolling the bag and adding soil as they grow!
Before you know it, you'll be digging up a whole bounty of fresh, homegrown potatoes.

Don't throw away those old, wrinkled potatoes! 🛑🥔
As you can see in the picture , these potatoes have started to "chit" (grow sprouts). Instead of tossing them in the trash, they are the perfect candidates for planting.
Quick tips for planting sprouted potatoes:
Chitting: Let the sprouts get to about an inch long (just like the ones in the photo).
Green is okay: The green tint on the skin means they've been exposed to light and developed solanine. While you shouldn't eat them like this, they are perfectly safe and great to use as seed potatoes!
Planting: Bury them about 4–6 inches deep in a container or garden bed with the sprouts facing up.
