We experienced loss in the electrical department that made operations impossible on Saturday. We did, however, enjoy 2 1/2 hours of business on Friday. Not what we expected, but now we turn our attentions to correcting the situation and getting back to business.

Area Fifty Yum came up electrically short today and WILL NOT be at Antler's Park on 4th of July. We are hoping to be ready for Cruise Night & the Grand Parade in Lakeville on the 6th and 7th at the north end of the route. We will keep you posted. Wish us luck!

Our Grand Opening held at Southcross Community Church in Burnsville on Saturday the 26th was delayed by a thunderstorm, but after an hour of waiting it out, we got going. Everyone was so patient with us! Ellen took orders and passed out the food, Nick grilled the sanwiches and Paul fried the French Fries. Rick was there on hand to help and handled food collecting for the food shelf. At around 2:40 the rain picked up again and we had to shut down. Pastor Casey gave us the go-ahead to run again after the service and we got more people and generous donations. Thank you everyone!! We raised $80 and enough food to fill the back of the Mini Cooper to the roof. I will be hauling it to 360 Communities food shelf in Burnsville today. Our next scheduled event will be the 4th of July during Pan-O-Prog in Lakeville at Antlers Park. Hope to see all of you again.
