Blugirl Soapworks carries a full line of moisturizing face and body bars. Specialty bars include a shampoo bar, a dog bar, a shave puck, and a dish bar! They also carry a beard balm and a body balm in addition to the after bath oil for moisturization. Seasonal products to look forward to are their bath tea/ salt soak, lemongrass and ginger, & lavender oatmeal. Plus, homemade laundry soap!

“Farm to Fist is a flower farm, hop farm, and event venue located in Western Wisconsin. Our flowers are available at the East Isles Farmers Market, a self-serve farm stand at our farm, our in-law's self-serve veggie stand in Hudson, WI, and through our CSA membership.

The CSA is our favorite part of what we do! Subscription fees allow us to buy seeds and compost, and in return our members receive beautiful weekly or bi-weekly bouquets throughout the summer; plus, we get to know our members on a personal level and they get to know their farmer, too :)

Beyond flowers, we love to brew beer with the hops that we grow and we also host weddings and events on the farm. We have an assortment of animals, including goats, chickens, dogs, kittens, and a pot belly big. Our two little girls, Freya and Britta, have loved attending the East Isles Farmers Market over the years and we love seeing new and familiar faces each week!”

Purveyor of Local Provisions

The East Isles Residents Association is partnering with The Minneapolis Park Board to create the first-ever Farmers Market on Park Board property. The Farmers Market is the brainchild of the East Isles Residents Association and was established as a means to further our mission of building community, promoting green spaces, and fostering our neighborhood.

East Isles is a destination in the summer months and the location for the market is a trifecta for residents, visitors and potential vendors. With the Walker Library and transit stop to the east, Uptown/Lagoon Avenue to the south, The Greenway running parallel, and East Calhoun Parkway/Lake of the Isles just down the block to the west, the East Isles Farmers Market is destined to be a hit. We plan to have 20-25 vendors each week and two rotating food trucks.

The Market will be held 14 glorious Thursday evenings this summer from 4P.M.-8P.M. beginning June 28th and running through October 4th. It will not be held on August 2nd, due to the Uptown Art Fair.
