This Saturday, May 11th, we will remember and celebrate our friend and neighbor, Robert Skafte, with a tree planting ceremony in Loring Park from 10:00 - 11:30am.

On May 1st (rain date May 2nd) we will be changing the memorial for Robert. Thank you for maintaining the beautiful memorial throughout the winter. If you have placed any cherished mementos please feel free to take them prior to the 1st.

We will be planting flowers in Robert’s little garden to honor and remember him.

We appreciate all the love and support as we work through this tragedy together.

We are devastated by the death of Robert Skafte, the heart and soul of the Oak Grove Grocery and the entire Loring Park Community. 💔

Robert was the definition of a good neighbor, a true friend, and the best teammate. He was the light of the neighborhood and our world will forever be a little less bright without him in it.

Thank you for all the love and support during this unbelievably tragic time. The store will remain closed until further notice.
