After a highly successful inaugural season in 2025, the Uptown Farmers Market is seeking vendors and staff for its second season in Uptown!

All vendors are encouraged to apply but ESPECIALLY those selling: organic produce and/or fruit, cheese, eggs, meat products, breads, honey, drinks, cottage foods and hot prepared foods. Priority is given to early and returning applicants.

We are also looking for a dynamic market manager to join our team who is passionate about not only supporting farmers, local food producers and businesses, but also contributing to the successful revitalization of Minneapolis’ iconic Uptown community. Aiming to hire ASAP.

Join us for storytime and a craft at the Out & About Book Bus! Explore the bus, read a book, and make an ARTrageous craft you can take home. The Out & About Book Bus will be open from 4:00pm-6:00pm tomorrow, 9/25, in the Market Square (Lake and Girard side). This is our last market of the season, so you don’t want to miss it!

Today’s market activity!

To honor and highlight this important harvest season that has been integral to several diverse Tribal Nations of the region, the Uptown Farmers Market is pleased to facilitate an environment of learning. We invite UMN grad student, Jacey Lamar who works with the Wild Rice Collaborative, which is a partnership between University of Minnesota, Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Commission, and several of the Tribal Nations of the Region. Come learn about authentic wild rice and respectable ways to utilize for your kitchen, and promote food sovereignty and how to support tribal harvesters. Meet Jacey today, 9/18, from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the Market Square (Lake Street side)!

4:30-6:30: Big Sunflower 2 are a Jazz quarter sure to make you smile, laugh, cry, whistle and scream with joy!

North Stage:
5-5:45: The Cellar Dwellers are Twin Town’s rockin’ kids who are shredding up 90’s rock covers that will melt your mind!
6-8: More jazz! The Michael Gold Jazz Trio are back, because they were too extraordinary to not have back. Like we had to.
