This month, we're donating to Every Meal! They're a Minnesota nonprofit fighting child hunger by placing free, nutritious meal bags directly into kids' backpacks so they have food over the weekend, when school meals aren't available.

Every Meal's model is simple but different from a typical food shelf:
🍽️ Discreet Backpack delivery. Nutritious meal bags are placed directly into students' backpacks during the school day. No trip to a food shelf, no transportation barrier, no separate line for kids to stand in.
🍽️ Free, no qualifications. Any family can enroll for free; there's no application or income verification required.
🍽️ Weekend-focused. Their Weekend Meal Program specifically targets the gap when school meals aren't available: Friday afternoon to Monday morning.
🍽️ Real food. Families may choose from five food bag options tailored to various cultural, dietary, and situational needs and preferences. Our food bags contain 4-5 pounds of good food that is nutritious, delicious, and relevant, providing approximately four meals.
