At Good Grocer, we’re changing how we look at food, groceries, and being part of a community. We are volunteer-powered. So, can a grocery store change the world?

Good Grocer is a grocery store on a mission to provide fresh, high quality, healthy food that is accessible and affordable for everyone in our community. Nearly everyone who operates our grocery store is a volunteer! Each give a little time per month to help make good food even more affordable for all. Additionally, when someone shops at Good Grocer, we use the profits to stock our Food Outlet, a

section within the store where those neighbors with food insecurity can shop with discounts up to 70% off. Let’s find out. One grocery bag at a time.

Did you know that 1 in 5 Minnesotans struggle to afford groceries for their families? Plus, with the recent cuts to SNAP, 1 in 4 children will go hungry.

Combating food insecurity is one of our missions at Good Grocer. We opened our nonprofit store to be a resource of affordable and accessible food for all our neighbors.

Our volunteer driven model allows us to keep prices lower and support those in need.

We are currently seeking additional volunteers.
