🍂 WE’RE BACK! 🍂

Thank you all for giving us a little time to recharge, adventure off to Alaska, and get back into the swing of things! 🧡 We’re so excited to be back in the kitchen and bringing you all the cozy goodness of fall.

We’re kicking things off with a September 11th menu featuring some of our first fall flavors, 🍎 apple, 🎃 pumpkin, and all the warm, cozy things we’ve been craving!

⏲️Orders close Wednesday at 6pm.

And this is just the beginning… next week will be filled with even MORE fall flavors, savory soups, cozy dishes, and the return of our cinnamon rolls! 🤎

🥒 The bakery is taking a little siesta… but the garden has other plans. 🌱😂

Auntie Kait’s is taking a little break from the full-blown baking chaos for a bit. We’re thinking we’ll be back full swing the week after Labor Day, but I may have some baking capacity the week before, so keep your eyes peeled! 👀

In the meantime, I’ll be doing what any reasonable person does when the garden starts producing faster than a person can eat…

From 8 ingredients down to 4 simple pantry staples (plus water). 🤍✨

Store-bought marshmallows and fluff often contain things like corn syrup and vague “natural flavors.” So I decided to make my own, how hard can it be.

Instead, this version is made with:
✨ Maple syrup
✨ Sugar
✨ Vanilla
✨ Beef gelatin
💧 Water
🧂 A pinch of salt

That’s it.

I love knowing exactly what’s in my food, and it’s amazing how a few simple ingredients can turn into the fluffiest homemade marshmallow fluff (or marshmallows!). No artificial ingredients, no mystery additives, just real food.

Imagine these in some grown up Rice Krispie treats, or all the summer s'more treats! Yumm!

And PS - I know this makes me a little crunchy but I love a good science experiment especially in the kitchen ♥️

🚨 Menu day! 🚨

I’m getting this week’s menu ready, and pickup/delivery will be Saturday morning this week!

I know it’s another busy weekend with Maddock’s 125th Celebration and Rolette Days. It feels like this summer has been packed with celebrations, so I’m planning a menu that’s easy to grab and enjoy while you’re out making memories.

🌱 I’m also thinking about adding a little something from the garden!

The “plant shelter” (aka the clearance rack at Tractor Supply 😂) lettuce has absolutely taken off, and it’s producing more than we can eat! It’s grown in raised beds with no sprays or fertilizer, just compost. You won't have to worry about the lettuce problem these days with this 🤪.

I’m considering offering fresh-cut, washed lettuce in approximately ½ lb bags for $3. Quantities will be limited!

🌿 I also have 6 Greek basil plants available for $4 each. I started these from seed after I waited forever for the local greenhouses to get them in…and they never did! A friend’s mom grew this variety last year and absolutely loved it because it stayed productive without flowering as quickly as traditional basil. I’m excited to see how it does here! It should be perfect for extending caprese salad season even after the first flush of tomatoes.
