I know we’ve all seen the news lately, and there has been a lot of talk about beef. We have been going back and forth on whether we should post something. We feel as producers ourselves and being directly involved with the end consumers, we decided that we had to say something.

When we came up with the idea of Frontier Meats we had two main goals and those goals we still strive for today. Our first goal is to give our customers affordable, high quality product. By ordering in meat we have been able to do that. We know meat isn’t cheap anymore, and we know for a majority of people times are a little hard. We also know that local meat isn’t always the most affordable. We want to give everyone the best possible chance at getting quality beef for their families.

Secondly, we want to help other ranchers and producers in our community. By either partnering with us to sell their products in our store, or selling it to the end consumer themselves we want to be there and support them. Even if it’s just butchering meat for their own family.

As a 4 generation ranch, we believe in beef raised right here in North Dakota. We are proud to offer it in our store for our community. We offer individual cuts, or in bulk (1/4, 1/2, and whole beef). We LOVE the push for local beef, but we also have options if it is just out of your budget.

Everything we sell at Frontier Meats we trust, we will never sell anything that we wouldn’t feed our own family. Ask questions, find out where your food is coming from. We of course would love to fill all of your freezers, but at the end of the day we just want to see our customers, the local ranchers, and the meat industry in this state thrive.

Mock Tender Steaks are on sale this Thursday and Friday for $7.89/lb. There are 2 in each pack. No limit, while supplies last!

Mock Tender Steak is a budget friendly cut of beef. It comes from the shoulder of a beef, making it more lean and tough. If it is braised slowly or grilled hot and fast to medium rare it is delicious!
